The HMI18000WDXS Metal Halide HMI Lamp from Sylvania is a double-ended metal halide bulb used in studio, TV, film, professional photography, and solar simulation applications. The lamp is dimmable down to 40% with stable color using many electronic ballasts. Also, the lamp is mechanically robust with eXtreme Seal (XS) technology, up to 842°F at the pinch seal. The 18,000W bulb has a color temperature of 6000K, a S30 base, and a lamp life of 500 hours.
