So, I’ve never had a telescope before, and have heard dobsonians are a great first step. I got an open box version and it came looking like a new one to be honest. What I’ve found though is you’ll likely spend a lot more money on lenses, colimators, and finder scopes (included finder scope is a pain to use, really needs to be a 90 degree) I’ve also heard a fine/coarse focuser would also be nice. But this will definitely get you started in the world of telescopes
