The Raptor Response shears are a compact and lightweight counterpart to Leatherman's Raptor Rescue multi-tool. It more easily fits in pockets and utility pouches to be on the ready should an emergency present itself. 420HC stainless steel makes up the shears' blades, which fold up after disengaging the lock when the tool needs to be stored. This is the same durable and strong material with which Leatherman machines the reliable knives found in their multi-tools. A 2" ruler runs along the side of the medical-style bottom scissor blade. Integrated into the crook of the scissors is a ring cutter hook to save digits should an accident occur. To access life-saving oxygen supplies, a specialized wrench is cut out of the ergonomically sculpted handles and located near a convenient lanyard hoop.
