Nanlite Projection Attachment for Bowens Overview

The Nanlite Projection Attachment for Bowens Mount with 36° Lens allows you to achieve complex and bold lighting effects using lights that have a Bowens mount, such as the Nanlite FS Series and larger Forza monolights. The Projection Attachment dramatically increases the output of the light you use it with. For example, the Forza 500 is over 266% brighter when this 36° version attachment is used. Included with the attachment are an array of highly creative light-shaping tools: a focusable lens, internal shutters, gel inserts, and gobos. It also supports an optional adjustable iris.

Accurate and Precise Optics
The light quality emitted by the Projection Attachment is accurate and precise. Non-curved lenses are utilized to eliminate aberration and minimize distortion, while optical coating improves transmittance and color temperature accuracy.
Durably Built and Ready to Fly
The Projection Attachment is constructed with an aluminum body. A flight case is included that has space for all the included accessories: the gel frame, gobo frame, gobos, and more.

I’ve noticed that some of the other reviews aren't reviewing the correct product. I will do this, it is for the zoomable attachment mount from Nanlite, 25-45 degrees. It works excellently, very compact. Besides being able to zoom from a wider beam to a narrower beam, you can focus as well. I’ve heard other gaffers say it will never be as good as a proper single-diameter mount. But I feel that, in most situations, it will be absolutely fine to use this in most professional settings. I love that I can mount it on a light, and not the other way around. It’s so lightweight! Anyway, Great so far. I will update if any issues arise. Gobos come tucked on the side, kinda hidden, don't assume they are missing as I did.

Really well made, zero complaints as far as functionality go. Probably a bit overbuilt, ends up being pretty heavy, it's ok when mounting lighter fixtures but can't really attach any of the big LEDs. Comes with a truly excellent carry case, tough and protective.

Can I use this for Nanlite 60B with Bowens mount adapter ? I don't like the PJ-FMM-36/19 without Bowens mount .

Yes, the Nanlite Projection Attachment will mount to the Nanlite 60 unit. For maximum output we suggest using the light shaping tool with the Forza 500 unit to increase brightness by 200% or more. What is the difference between the 19 and 36 ...

What is the difference between the 19 and 36 versions? Which is more commonly used / useful in the widest variety of application

The 19 and 36 just refers to the beam angle the light will narrow the light beam down to. You could get the 36 and if you find you want a narrower beam just add the 19mm lens to narrow further if needed. We sell the lenses separately.

Does this work with Aputure lights? Yes, both Bowens mount, but do the optics work? Still sharp?

The Nanlite Projection Attachment for Bowens Mount with 36° Lens works with many other lights, including an Aputure. It does not work with all models.
