The Rane BB 44X Balance Buddy is a single rackspace passive transformer, and handy professional-grade tool for eliminating electrical interferences by converting unbalanced RCA outputs up to balanced XLR inputs and vice-versa. It accommodates two channels each way, or a stereo pair each way (however you prefer to think about it). There are two female and two male XLR connectors, and four RCA jacks. An optional add-on expands this unit to eight channels.
Preserves Signal To Noise Ratios
Signal-to-noise performance is perfectly preserved using the BB 44X, since it uses only passive transformers to convert signal levels. It adds no additional noise whatsoever.
