Upgrade your fishing game with the Fisherman FD1 Fishing Drone from SwellPro. With this specialized drone, you can fish for more varieties of fish, larger fish, and troll without the need for a boat. It supports up to 4.4' of bait and can be cast up to a mile out. That means you can send out over 10 baited hooks and lures, or a piece of larger bait for shark or tuna. The Fisherman FD1 can also "sky troll" to attract pelagic species of fish.
Wind Resistant and Seawater Safe
The robust industrial-grade ABS construction of the Fisherman FD1 is 100% water sealed and pressure tested. The external motors are waterproof, and the internal electronics have been coated for corrosion resistance. It sports an IP67 rating that includes protection from seawater and is powerful enough to handle winds up to a Beaufort Force 7 (32-38 mph, 28-33 knots).
Long Battery Life
Cast multiple times before needing a recharge with the included 6700mAh 4S lithium battery. On a full charge, it provides up to 33 minutes of flight time (without bait).
Phone Not Required
Included is a dust- and splash-proof remote controller with an integrated 3" display. The display offers a high brightness to deal with sunlight and provides you with essential flight information.
Return to Home
Concentrate on your fishing and not your landing. After you drop your bait, simply flip the "Return Home" switch on the remote to have the Fisherman FD1 fly itself home automatically. On its own, it will fly back to its takeoff point and land gently.
Failsafe Return
If the Fisherman FD1 loses its signal or suffers a low battery, the Failsafe Return feature will be engaged. The drone will automatically release the fishing line and return to its takeoff point.
Anti-Pendulum
Drones can sway in a pendulum motion when carrying heavy payloads, which is why SwellPro added an anti-pendulum feature. This reduces the effect by controlling the acceleration and deacceleration of the drone.
Elevated GPS and Altimeter
With both the GPS and altimeter elevated on the drone housing, you can enjoy increased precision, greater interference resistance, and the ability of the compass to always point north in unusual magnetic fields.
Optional Accessories
The Fisherman FD1 supports a host of optional accessories that can enhance your fishing experience:
- PL1-F: An electronic remote payload release that mechanically lets go of your bait without a camera for simple casting.
- PL2-F: An electronic remote payload release that mechanically lets go of your bait, along with an adjustable camera for a real-time video feed.
- Trollsafe: The Trollsafe directly mounts on the Fisherman or either payload release. It drops the line automatically if the drone or line gets hit or if there's a reel jam.
- GL1: These FPV goggles can give you a clear first-person view from the Fisherman's perspective when it's equipped with a camera.
