SoundSwitch Control One Overview

Professional DJs looking to add lighting control and effects to their setup will be impressed with the SoundSwitch Control One, a dedicated tactile controller that provides one-to-one control over light fixture color, intensity, movement, automated light shows, and F/X. Control One brings music-synchronized light shows and the power of on-the-fly visual effects to your fingertips.

The Control One works with the SoundSwitch software (Mac and Windows), which automatically creates dynamic music-synchronized light shows that amplify your DJ performance and create an immersive experience for your audience. SoundSwitch is compatible with both DMX and Philips Hue Smart Lights, allowing you to effortlessly illuminate your professional event, live stream, or house party.

Note:
Windows computers and laptops with Intel integrated graphics cards are not supported as SoundSwitch requires OpenGL compatible graphics cards.
Dual USB + DMX Universes
The Control One features dual USB ports for seamless transitions between DJs, and two DMX outputs providing 1024 channels for countless light fixtures. The additional DMX Input ports and onboard storage allow for direct integration with clubs, bars, and music venues existing lighting systems.
Lighting Control Simplified for DJs
Just like hot cue pads on your DJ gear, Control One offers responsive performance triggers for automated light shows, color overrides, position overrides, strobe, and other customizable lighting effects. Compatibility with professional DJ platforms from Engine DJ, Serato DJ, and Virtual DJ makes it easy to integrate Control One into existing DJ setups.
Tactile, Responsive, and Customizable
Control One provides tactile control over all SoundSwitch performance features. Effortlessly trigger color and position overrides, cycle between banks of automated light shows (Autoloops), set an elegant ambiance with a subtle Static Look, and when the moment calls, engage the Strobe to add an energized visual effect to complement the build-up of your performance.
AutoScripting, Patching, Venue Setup
Use the SoundSwitch Desktop software to AutoScript your tracks, set up your lighting patch, create Autoloops, Static Looks, and more, then easily export your SoundSwitch project for use with Engine Lighting
Plug-and-Play with Engine DJ Hardware
Prefer performing without a computer? Control One is plug-and-play compatible with Engine DJ hardware running Engine DJ v2.0 or higher. Simply connect Control One to an available USB port on the Engine DJ hardware. Once connected, you'll have full standalone control over the entire performance environment, music, and lights.

Controller works great SoundSwitch is hard to operate

I've been using SoundSwitch software since it first came out. This new controller works great. The problem is the actual software is really difficult to operate and their tutorials on the software were made versions ago and are hard to navigate. I would think most DJ's would like something that plays by itself and you can over ride whats playing and change colors and without setting up the software correctly this is hard to do.

Love what it does, when once your done with getting the system properly configured. Documentation is limited, but plenty of videos exists on SoundSwitch site and Utube. Please watch all before starting. Be patient with support from New Zealand via email. Their support staff is top notch. If they have to look at your system over the internet they will to correct setup problems. May require more than one view. Watching support configure setup problem I say the following. Top notch professional support stay. These guys get 5 Stars also. These guys ROCK. Regards DJ Steve

Does it come with a perpetual license to the full ...

Does it come with a perpetual license to the full sound switch software? I've heard that it does but all the spec sheets seem to still say "3 month subscription included" I would not buy this if it requires a subscription after 3 months.

Yes, soundswitch and the control one can be driven locally as a standalone lighting system independent of any DJ software.
