Is the difference between the activ10 & 10T that the 10T is easier to mount but the 10 has better counterbalance? Anything else?

The only difference between the Sachtler aktiv10T Touch & Go Fluid Head with SpeedLevel & 7-Step Drag (100mm) and the Sachtler aktiv10 Sideload Fluid Head with SpeedLevel & 7-Step Drag for Sachtler Tripods (100mm) is the different camera plate systems. The aktiv10T has Sachtler's Touch & Go quick release system while the aktiv 10 has a Sideload quick release system.

aktiv10 and aktiv10T come with the SpeedLevel feature (levelling lever positioned at the front of the head). FSB 10 has a standard tiedown.

The differentce between the Sachtler aktiv10T Touch & Go Fluid Head with SpeedLevel & 7-Step Drag (100mm) and the Sachtler aktiv8T Touch & Go Fluid Head with SpeedLevel & 7-Step Drag for Sachtler Tripods (75mm) is the head size, shown in the titles. The aktiv10T is 100mm and the aktiv8T is 75mm.
