Mount-It! Adjustable Wall Mount for Sonos One, One SL, and PLAY:1 (Black)

Beautiful mount, but not the best instructions

I had another mount for my Sonos Play:1 speakers, but when I upgraded to One SL speakers, I had to get new mounts because Sonos removed the screw mounting point in the newer model. I considered several before deciding on this mount. I liked that this mount has a minimalistic design, and it looks great with the One SL. I couldn’t give it that fifth star for a few reasons. The first issue was separating the speaker holder from the mount piece that gets screwed into the wall. It was extremely difficult, and I was certain I was going to break the tab that needs to be pushed in to separate them. The second issue is that the instructions say to use a 5/16” drill bit for the anchors for masonry, but doesn’t specify what size bit for drywall. My first hole was slightly too big, so I went down to 15/64” and that worked better. The last issue was that nowhere in the instructions does it tell you that for the One or One SL speakers, you need to set them up in the app before mounting them because the bracket blocks the pairing button. I am still happy with the purchase and will probably buy a couple more as I finish upgrading the other Sonos Play:1 speakers in the house.
