Built to provide attractive looks and dependable performance for players on a budget, the RG Series Ibanez GRG121SP is a solid body electric guitar sporting a sparkly Blue Metal Chameleon finish and flexible tonal choices. The poplar body features two cutaways to welcome access to all frets and a fixed bridge for enhanced sustain and stability.
Bolted to the poplar body is the roasted maple neck, which is outfitted with a jatoba fingerboard and 24 medium frets. Electronics on the GRG121SP include two Classic Elite humbucking pickups, volume and tone knobs, and a 5-way pickup selector that makes switching from rhythm to lead sounds easy.
Humbucking Pickups
Classic Elite pickups at the bridge and neck offer rich, nuanced tone with fat low-end.
Versatile Switching System
With a 5-way pickup selector and controls for volume and tone, the GRG121SP delivers an array of tonal options.
Dependable Output Jack
The mono-unit output jack is made of solid, durable material and is a single piece to avoid unwanted movement and loosening of the jack, which leads to contact failure or disconnection. This innovation allows for long-term playing enjoyment and minimal maintenance.
Fixed Bridge
The F106 bridge enriches sustain. String height adjustment can be done easily and independently.
Jatoba Fingerboard with White Dot Inlays
Jatoba has a reddish brown color and produces a rich midrange with crisp highs.
