This Schoeps ORTF Stereo Microphone Amplifier with Matched MK 4 Capsules consists of a T-shaped two-channel microphone amplifier, that accepts two included paired MK 4 cardioid capsules. They are arranged at a distance of 6.7" at an angle of 110° to each other, as required for the ORTF method. In addition, the mic placement is relatively unimportant, making it suitable for the rather inexperienced user. Set-up is quick and easy, because only a single stand and cable are required, and the capsule distance and the offset angle of the capsules to each other don't need be adjusted.
