Will the 8TB Atom EV External SSD work with the Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Extreme ISO? Although the Atom 4TB drive is on BMD's approved list, the 8TB one isn't, and I'm loathe to spend $1800 only to find it won't work.
Depending on the USB cable (and the length thereof), the disk format you're using, and the internals in your specific copy of this drive, you may indeed find that your specific Glyph Technologies 8TB Atom EV USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C External SSD (B&H# GLA8000EV) will work with the Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Extreme ISO (B&H# BLATEMMEI). However, especially if you record multiple video feeds then chances of compatibility will be less. For those reasons, and because the manufacturer does not recommend this option at this time, we cannot recommend this specific drive for the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO.
