    As an eyeglass wearer using the tiny rangefinder on an M camera can be challenging and I'm also not a fan of using the larger live view on the LCD while shooting people. The EVF on the SL and Q series cameras are superb and responsive so I was expecting that the Visoflex 2 would have somewhat similar performance on my M11. It is solid, beautiful made and of typically Leica quality. It also mounts securely to the camera so no problems here. BUT it has such a LONG SHUTTER LAG that capturing the moment is as reliable as breaking a piñata while blindfolded. It is useless for what it was designed for. If you shoot weddings, street or any other dynamic scenes don't buy this thing.

    Much easier to use that then eye piece on the M11. The EVF allows you to make diopter adjustments, angle of device, and its sharper/clearer.

    For my M10R, is the Visoflex 2 much of n improvement, if at all, over the original Visoflex?

    M10-R apparently offers 2.4MP same as before. It appears Leica purposefully made sure that the resolution did not match M11's 3.7MP so that M10R to be considered as an inferior product to M11.

    The answer to the question: will Visoflex 2 perform better than the previous model is confusing. Is the future update only offering 2.4 mp resolution? Or does it come that way and a future update will improve the the resolution?

    The Leica Visoflex 2 Electronic Viewfinder will be able to work on the Leica M10 Digital Rangefinder Camera via a future Firmware update. With that firmware update it will still be limited to a 2.4MP viewing resolution on the M10.

    Turning the diopter adjustment wheel toward the lens Leica Visoflex 2 Electronic Viewfinder is going in the plus (+) direction. Turning the wheel toward the LCD is going in the minus (-) direction.

    Will Visoflex 2 perform better on the M10 than the previous model? The specs seem to indicate that the resolution on the M10 will be the same.

    The image magnification is lower therefore the image is smaller than the Visoflex 020 designed for the M10. It works well, especially for eye-glass wearers will be able to see the whole image. The Visoflex 020 provides a bigger image and GPS.
