Vertiv Avocent SVMV280DPH-400 Overview

Easily monitor and manage multiple computers from a single local setup with the Vertiv Avocent 8-Port MultiViewer KVM Switch. Ideal for businesses, this KVM offers support for up to eight devices, allowing you to easily switch between different nodes, update various programs and firmware, and even save space within your IT department.

Each connection supports a unique universal video connection, combining HDMI and DisplayPort interfaces into a single convenient solution, allowing you to use the cable of your choice for your local setup and your eight devices. The MultiViewer supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 with a 30 Hz refresh rate, giving you a clear picture of your system software. 3.5mm audio jacks provide you with audio cues and sound notifications for your connected systems. Additionally, you get support for USB 2.0 peripherals, allowing you to update your connected equipment from your local setup.

Flexibility
When it comes to video connection and peripheral control, the MultiViewer gives you additional features including Freeze USB and Audio channels that lock USB and sound access to a specific computer, preventing crossover. With Cascading mode, you can view content from multiple sources simultaneously.
Switching Capabilities
Through Cursor Navigation Switching (CNS), you can manage and monitor data by simply moving the mouse across window borders for quick access to your connected devices. Push buttons are also located on the front of the device for easy switching.
Certifications
The MultiViewer includes various certifications including TAA which allows contractors to use this device in areas where security is a high priority. Additionally, NIAP v4.0 ensures the MultiViewer is secure with protection profiles designed to enhance cybersecurity for your devices.
