Audio professionals in search of the ultimate vocal doubler plug-in should look no further than the Sonnox VoxDoubler, a software plug-in that's presented as two separate plug-ins (Widen and Thicken) that focus on the two most common vocal doubling workflows. VoxDoubler provides ease of use, real-time processing, and results that sound as if the doubled parts were actually multitracked.
Use Widen to generate two new mono voices that are panned left and right from the original, while Thicken generates a new stereo doubled voice and overlaps it with the original vocal, emulating the effect of singing the same part twice. VoxDoubler is compatible with Mac and Windows and works with DAWs utilizing AAX-Native, AU, VST2, and VST3 plug-in formats.
