The Canon FD / FL to Canon RF Mount Speed Booster ULTRA from Metabones has a magnification of 0.71x, effectively reducing the crop factor of mirrorless cameras with DX-sized sensors, such as Sony E-mount and Fuji X-mount cameras, from 1.5x to 1.07x. The ULTRA design makes very effective use of exotic materials at the furthest limit of glass-making technology, and as a result is well corrected for use with virtually all full-frame SLR lenses regardless of exit pupil distance. The Speed Booster ULTRA performs extremely well with professional-grade f/2.8 zoom lenses such as the 24-70mm f/2.8 and 70-200mm f/2.8 zooms by Canon and Nikon to produce 17-50mm f/2.0 and 50-142mm f/2.0 high-speed zooms, respectively. Similarly, high-speed fixed focal length lenses such as a 50mm f/1.2 will be transformed to a 35.5mm f/0.9 lens with excellent contrast and resolution from the center all the way to the edges of the image.

This adapter is a mechanical adapter. It does NOT support electronic aperture control, AF, and EXIF
Designed for the APS-C format camera (eg. Canon C70 and RED Komodo, etc.) or use with the APS-Crop modes of EOS-R3, R5, R6, EOS-R, and EOS-RP
Detachable Arca-type tripod foot compatible with Arca-Swiss, Markins, and Photo Clam ball heads (clamp directly or attach to quick release plate with a 1/4"-20 screw)

Both camera-side and lens-side of the adapter are made of brass, precision-machined, and plated with chromium
Satin surface finish, like your OEM lens and camera mounts
EXIF data such as lens identification, focal length, and aperture
True electronic integration of aperture diaphragm lets the camera automatically choose aperture in P or S exposure modes, or dial it in yourself on the camera body in A or M modes
Designed to reach infinity focus while maintaining the correct registration distance required to maintain optical quality of CRC lenses or lenses with floating elements
Precise fit and solid connection. The lens has no play, gap, or wiggling when mounted on adapter and no adjustments are required to fit your lens
Advanced 5-element / 4-group optical design incorporating ultra-high index tantalum-based optical glass by Caldwell Photographic

It's so strange having my Komodo at 640 ISO, my 35/2 wide open and knowing there's not much light but seeing the image and scope a stop brighter. Very cool. Mount feels great, no wiggle, but looking for a support adapter just in case.

Can I use this with the new Canon r7 and still use RF lenses
The Metabones Canon FD / FL to Canon RF Mount Speed Booster ULTRA 0.71x (EOS-R) is compatible with the Canon Eos R7 camera but it can only use Canon FD mount lenses (older manual focus mount). Currently there are no speed boosters for mounting RF lenses to an RF camera.

EOS R3 in crop mode with a canon FD 150-600 5.6. The lens is in effect a 240-960 5.6. with booster am at 170-680/F4?
The Metabones Canon FD / FL to Canon RF Mount Speed Booster ULTRA 0.71x (EOS-R) is not designed to work on a full-frame camera. But if you do set the camera to crop mode, which is a 1.7 crop, and then use a 150-600mm lens with the adapter, it will make the lens act almost like a 150-600mm lens. It will not make it longer.
