Angler Catchlight V2 Overview

The CL-22WFV2 White/Soft Gold Fabric for Mini Catchlight V2 from Angler is a reversible white and soft gold reflector panel for the CL-22V2 Mini CatchLight V2. It installs quickly and easily via touch-connect strips that stretch the fabric for a wrinkle-free surface with consistent lighting coverage.

This reversible fabric produces the same seamless, curved catchlights that match the shape and contour of your subject's eyes, while minimizing uncomplimentary shadows in headshots, fashion photography, and glamour shots. The white fabric gently accentuates beautiful skin tones. Reverse the reflector, and the soft gold fabric casts a rich glow that resembles the warm tones of a sunset. Each fabric color offers soft and flattering reflections that are less punchy and specular than the Mini CatchLight V2's silver fabric.

    Build quality is good. I use it for corporate headshots and it's easy to assemble and take down.

    The reflector does what you would expect it to do and is made well. I bought the large size because I thought I could fold it up when not using but I was mistaken. It took a long time to put together and a lot of muscles to stretch the fabric on the frame. At first, I thought I might have received fabric that was too small for the frame but eventually realized that was not the case. I kept stretching, hoping I would not tear the fabric. It now sits in the garage taking up more space than intended because I do not want to go through the process of reassembling. Maybe if I leave it up for a few months, the fabric might stretch enough that gorilla muscles are not need to assemble.
