For the original PS5 system, replaces the original expansion slot cover to cover a bare SSD. Adhesive on the bottom touches the SSD, very easy.

I was a bit confused as I was watching the ssd installation video Sony provided and then looked at this thing. But once I read it's instructions I felt a bit silly! But it seems to be doing its job well and it was very easy to install!
