Mount-It! MI-7943 Overview

The Portable Height Adjustable Laptop & Projector Stand from Mount-It! has two platforms set at different heights so that you can access both your laptop and projector comfortably. Each platform has metal lips on the edge to protect your media devices from falling. The base is sturdy to keep your equipment secure while you move to and from different rooms. Tilt the top platform up to 30 degrees to get the perfect display on the screen.

The steel frame has a weight capacity of up to 88 lb
Move the stand easily into place with the 1.5" casters and simply set the two locking brakes to keep it in position

This is not difficult to build, though some of the images in the instruction sheet could be better. Once constructed it is very stable and sturdy. The only thing that could be improved is for the height of the laptop stand to be adjustable.

Our historical society does many presentations to membership in the course of a year. The old and much larger a/v stand worked well but it's too much cart for the typical use that it's designed for. This is a minimalist cart but very well made. Heavy duty components and simple assembly make this a good choice for others also no needing a massive cart. Platform sizes are just good enough but be careful of the larger projectors. Check your measurements before buying. For the historical society, it's perfect.

No, the upper tray on the Mount-It! Portable Height Adjustable Laptop & Projector Stand (B&H # MOMI7943) is only about half the length of the Epson LS800 projector.

Can it be broken down easily so that the base and stand can be stored in a small space?

The Mount-It! Portable Height Adjustable Laptop & Projector Stand (BH # MOMI7943) is not quickly broken down as it is assembled with bolts and nuts and requires tools to assemble and disassemble. Once disassembled it could be stored in a compact space.
