The X-Pro 002 Orange Resin Filter from Cokin is designed to create more contrast in Black-and-White images. It is ideal for landscape and architectural photography, because it brightens reds, darkens violets, and blues. Therefore, making skies more dramatic and creates separation between the dark and light tones.
The filter is square in shape and the width is 130mm, which is only compatible with the X-Pro Series Filter Holder. CR39 Resin was used to make the Cokin filter. The filter has a filter factor of 1.5, so the exposure should be increased by 2/3 of a stop to compensate.
