Hi Sherry. I use the BodyBag with a Pentax 5 and a Pentax 3.5-6.3, 18-270 mm lens and it fits well. But it won't fit the same camera with the Pentax 2.8, 16-50mm as its diameter is larger. I am not familiar with the lens you mention but this might give you an idea. I think it's easy to use/remove. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
