Designed for high-speed data acquisition and capture applications, the RocketU 1444C PCIe 3.0 x16 USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Host Controller Card from HighPoint fits into a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot on your host Windows or Linux system using an included low-profile bracket. It is equipped with four 20 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 ports, each of which is powered by a dedicated controller, ensuring that each port always has full access to 20 Gb/s of bandwidth, with no per-port bandwidth sharing. Each port also outputs up to 7.5W of charging power. Operations are kept cool using an anodized aluminum heatsink with a fan, while an MTBF of 920,585 hours helps ensure a long life. Also featured is USB backward compatibility.

Will this work to add USB ports in my HP ENVY Desktop computer? The regular PCI-e slot is already taken with a multiport USB adapter, and I need more ports. The only other slot is a PCIe-16
