Philips Play Light Bar Overview

Set the ideal lighting ambiance in your space with the black Hue White & Color Ambiance Play Light Bar from Philips, provided here in a pack of two. These devices require the Hue Bridge (available separately) for operation. When connected to the Bridge, you'll be able to control the light bars, create customized schedules, set light routines, set timers, and add or remove Hue light accessories via the Hue app for iOS and Android.

These dimmable light bars each have a light output of 530 lumens and a 2000 to 6500K color temperature for up to 16 million colors. A lifespan of 25,000 hours ensures that they will last for many years to come. Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri are supported for seamless voice control when used with the Hue Bridge.

These lights emit a very loud, very annoying electric whine through most of the dim range. I wanted to put them behind my computer monitor, but it was like fingernails on blackboards. Will return.

This is my 3rd or 4th light from the Hue series and, like the others, it's great. Setup (once you have the app) is a breeze, strong build quality and very bright.
