Godox Grid for TL120 Reviews
Pretty flimsy for $70 man...
I can appreciate this thing for not being as annoying to set up as the PavoTube grids. It also grids the light perfectly. With that all said, it's flimsy as heck. The thing's more limper than me when I see my ex-girlfriend. It's flimsiness makes setting it up all the more annoying, (Again, at least it's not as bad as the PavoTube Grids). Unlike me, performance isn't the issue here, it's build quality just isn't worth $70.
Good value but..
Great value for the money compared to other tube light grids on the market. Your light is attached via a few thin 1/4 elastics that don't velcro off so it's a bit annoying to have to slide the light in the whole length. Velcro straps would make mounting much easier. The most annoying thing is (and no fault of B&H) that Godox ships this grid rolled up and it looks like it's permanently warped because the walls are made of semi-rigid plastic. Sure, it still functions fine as a grid to control light, but it's just a sloppy way to do things. If Godox ships this flat and makes the back fasteners with velcro I'd give this 5 stars
