The large, red Bubblebee Industries The Spacer Bubble System is a multipiece, adaptable windshield system for shotgun microphones that allows you to quickly switch from indoor to outdoor recordings in a matter of a few seconds. It fits microphones 18 to 24mm in diameter and has an inner depth of 155mm to cover all the ports on the mic. Designed specifically for boom operators, videographers, sound mixers, and sound recordists working under changing locations, it greatly reduces noise from wind, vocal plosives, and boom 'swoosh' while remaining acoustically transparent. The system includes the Spacer Bubble, The Long-Hair Spacer Cover (fur), and a mesh storage bag.

No, the Bubblebee Industries The Spacer Bubble Windshield & Fur Cover System for Small-Diaphragm Mics (Black, Extra-Small) is not compatible for use with the Sennheiser MKH 50 Microphone. All of the Spacer Bubble models are designed to fit microphones that have a diameter of 18 to 24mm, but the MKH 50 has a 25mm diameter. As a better option, you can use the Rycote Super-Softie Windshield for Shotgun Mics - 5cm, 24/25 (B&H # RYWSQAT), which is designed to fit mics that have a diameter of 24 to 25mm and it is compatible for use with the MKH 50.
