The Sunpak Ultra7040TM Tri-Monopod is a lightweight and portable aluminum tripod that can also be used as a monopod. A lift-and-lock center column completely pulls out for use as a monopod. At the turn of twist locks, it can be extended from 18 to 64.5" in length. In tripod mode, the height is adjustable from 22.5 to 70" and is secured via flip locks. The same tripod head is used in tripod or monopod mode and supports up to 12.3 lb.
Smartphone and action camera adapters are included that attach to the 1/4"-20 screw on the quick release plate of the tripod head. Between the head and adapters, the tri-monopod supports compact cameras, smartphones, and action cams. A bubble level is built into the QR plate. The Ultra7040TM Tri-Monopod features neoprene leg wraps, a folding carry handle, leg braces for added stability, and rubber tipped feet.
