OSEE LCM215-HDR Overview

The OSEE 21.5" LCM215-HDR+ Field Monitor with V-Mount Battery Plate is a 1500 cd/m² full HD monitor packed with monitoring tools. Whether you prefer to use histograms, waveforms, false colors, or zebras, this field monitor has the right tool to help you nail the optimal exposure. The monitor also supports anamorphic de-squeeze and custom frame guides for anamorphic shooters. Packaged with a V-mount battery plate, sun hood, C-stand mount, and desktop stand, this OSEE field monitor is ready to go in just about any production environment.

High-Brightness Display
At 1500 cd/m², this OSEE monitor is daylight viewable and, in some situations, capable of maintaining its 1000:1 contrast under direct sunlight without a sun hood.

Bright and cheap, not color accurate, adjusting brightness/backlight throws color way off compared to SmallHD tools so you'd need to have more profiles prepped to get a usable reference, I gave up trying to hit targets in DisplayCal. Pretty poor build quality, like in other reviews the screws won't last, the built in feet will not last on set and will tear into the metal housing if abused. I replaced the baby pin adapter in the first week with a 3rd party's since I thought the included one wasn't going to hold it with a battery consistently. Useful but not something to vouch for

Does it come with a protective case around it? Compatialy with a c stand mount.

it does not come with a case, it DOES come with a baby pin receiver that screws in to the bottom. It also comes with shade.

On the Manual for the OSEE 21.5" LCM215-HDR+ Field Monitor with V-Mount Battery Plate, there are options to select both normal and over-scan settings.

While the manufacturer of the OSEE 21.5" LCM215-HDR+ Field Monitor with V-Mount Battery Plate (B&H# OSLCM215HDRV) does not list the screw size of the threads for an add-on accessory plate in particular, for the V-mount battery plate the type of screw is an M4 8mm. As such, an M4 8mm would be the first screw to try for the accessory plate as well. (It should be noted, however, that the screws required for the legs are M4 10mm.)

The OSEE LCM215HDR+ 21.5" Field HDR Monitor with V-Mount Battery Plate Kit does support anamorphic modes - anamorphic ratios: 1X, 1.33X,1.5X, 1.66X, 1.8X, 2X, 2XMAG.

The OSEE 21.5" LCM215-HDR+ Field Monitor with V-Mount Battery Plate does not have a multiviewer built into the display. However, you could add the following: Blackmagic Design MultiView 4 BH #BLMV4 https://bhpho.to/3U1EU4X

The USB port on the OSEE LCM215HDR+ is not powered. It is designed for firmware updates and Loading LUTs into the display.
