The AGM NVG-50 3AP Night Vision Goggle/Binocular is defined by its wide field of view and compact, comfortable, versatile design—making it suitable for a wide array of stealth and tactical applications. It can be mounted on tactical or aviation helmets, worn on the head, or held in the hand, and you can even disable one intensifier tube to convert it into a monocular for specialized applications. The unit can run on either the one included CR123A lithium battery or an easy-to-find AA alkaline, and there is an optional battery pack for extended operation.
This version of the NVG-50 features dual Gen 3 Advanced Performance Autogated intensifier tubes. Once properly adjusted, it has 17mm of eye relief for maximum comfort with a close focus distance of just 10 inches and an integrated IR illuminator that allows you to pack gear, do weapon checks, set up an LZ, or perform triage and first aid without giving away your position. AGM includes a pair of demist shields to prevent fogging and sacrificial windows that protect the objective lenses from windblown sand and debris.
