The Bowers & Wilkins CT8.4 LCRS is a sealed-box, three-way speaker intended for use in custom home theater installations in the front, center, or rear surround sound positions. Designed as an addition to the top-of-the-range Custom Theatre 800 Series, the CT8.4 LCRS combines a 1.25" tube-loaded aluminum dome tweeter, 6" Aramid fiber FST mid-range driver, and 8" Carbon Fiber/Rohacell sandwich cone bass woofer to deliver an authentic three-dimensional listening experience.
Installation
The CT8.4 LCRS speaker is intended for use in home theatre front, center, and surround channel applications. More specifically it can also be used as the surround speaker option for the CT800 system when space constraints prohibit the use of the CT8 DS. This speaker can be wall-mounted in either vertical or horizontal orientation, or floor-mounted vertically with midrange driver uppermost, using one of the accessory brackets supplied.
