This 200W speaker is specifically designed for home theaters, with its high-sensitivity 1" Nautilus tube-loaded tweeter made just for movie soundtracks. The tweeter works in conjunction with tweeter crossover filters to minimize signal degradation and is joined in the black cabinet by a 6" woven Aramid fiber FST midrange, and dual 8" paper/Aramid fiber woofers for clear, defined, and balanced sound with deep bass response. As part of your home theater, the CT7.3 can be used as a front, center, or rear speaker.

If your personal configuration provides concealment (Behind screen/or TV) and you have the space to accommodate these, do it, I can't say anything more but I will, we use them behind a TV and were not satisfied with the soundbar experience, nothing wrong with that option, but.......we acquired these after testing a pair of speakers with a friendlier cost point, once the concept was proven, I replaced the concepts with these, in combination with a Rotel (RA-6000) and the combination far exceeds intentions, good extended full range sound that is just glorious and far superior to the soundbar approach, not a cheap option, but it will never need to be replaced, ever !! : ) Bonus - No sub needed
