Vixen Optics AP Star Tracker

The Vixen Optics AP Star Tracker is a highly portable mount for astrophotography, comprised of the modules and units for the AP equatorial mount. The body weighs 3.3 pounds and has has 13.2 pounds of load capacity. In combination with a lightweight tripod, you can conveniently take it to a dark location away from light pollution. The AP Star Tracker comes equipped with a built-in polar alignment scope PF-L. For polar alignment in the northern hemisphere, the polar scope utilizes three stars, including Polaris, to match the scale position on the reticle in the polar scope's field of view. It can align the polar axis of the AP star tracker as accurate as 3 arcminutes or less.
