Protects my pencil in the cockpit

I had a different case for my iPad 6, but I was not aware how fragile the iPencil tip was. Apparently, the way it attached to the iPad in that case was not protecting the tip of the pencil. I bought this case and it seems to be pretty protective of the tip.

Does the Logitech Crayon fit in the pencil storage area?

It's the same length but thicker than the Apple Pencil, so it does prevent the TechProtectus Protective Folio Case from completely closing.
