I bought this because I wasn't getting power to the EVF from a v-mount battery, so I wasn't sure if it was the 4 pin LEMO cable or a battery issue. When I attached this unit the EVF fired right up. I really like it. It has an off/on switch which can help conserve your battery power. I've used it a couple hours, but not continuously so I'm not sure how much time you'd actually get if you kept it on. I think it's a great option if you're not running a v-mount battery or just want a backup. I'm glad I got it.
