Can I use this ball joint to support on one end my 48" GVM slider and the other end to my c-stand?
It would depend on the what is supporting the end with the Cartoni Ball Joint. The ball joint can support up to 44lb, which would thread into the 1/4" space on the GVM GP-120QD Motorized Carbon Fiber Video Slider (48"), B&H # GVGP120QD. It's important that the ball joint is properly supported since movement can cause a shift if not properly mounted.
