Part of Sontronics series of drum-specific mics, the DM-1T is almost identical to the DM-1S snare mic (available separately) in size and weight, making them well suited for use together on drum kits and easy to position for optimal results. The difference between the two is in their frequency-response curves, which on the DM-1T offers a more pronounced bottom-end roll off and a bit less presence boost in the 5 to 10 kHz range.
