Whether making solo, duo, or ensemble vocal recordings or capturing brass, strings, and woodwind instruments, the Mercury is more than capable of handling it all; it's also well suited for use on piano, guitars, and harp.
This vintage limited edition model features a pre-1970 Mullard M8162 tube to provide a rich, warm character with deep lows and a silky top end. A 75 Hz high-pass filter is on board to reduce unneeded low-end when necessary. The -10 dB pad can be engaged when you're recording louder sources, and the Mercury can handle up to 125 dB SPL.
