The FSR CB-12-MLS 1 x 2' Ceiling Enclosure with 5 AC Outlets & Prewired MLS Cable is ideal for classrooms, conference centers, meeting rooms, training facilities, airports, museums, and spaces that will benefit from a permanent projector installation in a T-grid drop ceiling. The advantage of this system is that an electrician can pre-install an MLS cable system; when the contractor installs the ceiling enclosure, they can simply connect the prewired MLS cable to the MLS end left by the electrician, thus powering the ceiling box without requiring a second trip by your licensed electrician to connect power to the enclosure. This 1 x 2' enclosure provides an external AC receptacle on the ceiling surface, five additional prewired AC receptacles inside the enclosure, one shelf to mount half-rack devices for AV equipment, and knockouts.
