StarTech ARMDUALV Reviews
Better than I thought!
At first I wasn’t sure about vertically mounted monitors, but after doing it, I am quite impressed. I decided to have a larger monitor on the bottom and a smaller one on top, and configured it so that my System information was on the top monitor. For me, I found looking up and down was easier than side to side, and I found I have more desk space now. If I am ever showing something to a standing co-worker, the upper monitor is at a better angle to move a window and allow easier viewing. Setup was quick and easy, I always recommend reading the manual first and have your monitors ready prior to setting up the stand. The instructions are well laid out and easy to follow, and the design is solid and assembles easily. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review
Painted Threads!!!
Threads and couplings are painted. This results in being unable to thread the pieces together. Thought that it was just one end, but out of the 6 pieces that thread only 2 thread easy and not even the pieces that are supposed to thread together. Had to use a pipe wrench to disconnect two pieces which only threaded by 2 threads.
