Not the fit that I expected from Lenscoat

I was told both by Lenscoat and B&H that this would fit the Sony FE 70-200mm f/4 Macro G OSS II , however It doesn't. The kit I recieved had no provision to keep the lens foot on with the lenscoat installed. I have other lenscoat products and expected this to be the same. When scanning the QR code for the instructions an error was encountered on the LensCoat site, not helpful!

Unfortunately, it is not possible to see the numbers on the aperture ring with the LensCoat Lens Cover for Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II (Realtree Max 5).
