Philips 242B1H Overview

Streamline productivity with the 242B1H 23.8" 16:9 Adaptive-Sync IPS Monitor from Phillips. Sporting a 23.8" In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel, this monitor provides a Full HD resolution. Adaptive-Sync support, a 4 ms (GtG) response time, and 75 Hz refresh rate allow for smooth on-screen performance, while the 16.7 million colors and 1000:1 static contrast ratio ensure accurate and crisp visuals. An integrated pop-up webcam lets you easily log in using Windows Hello.

Connect to a host via DisplayPort, HDMI, and VGA inputs. Use the included USB Type-A to B cable to enable the integrated hub, comprised of three USB Type-A ports. A 250 nits brightness and wide 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles ensure viewing comfort, while low blue light filtering and flicker-free screen technology reduce eye strain during long viewing sessions. Tilt, swivel, rotate, and adjust the height of the stand to find your perfect viewing angle, and use the integrated cable management to keep your workstation looking tidy.

PowerSensor
PowerSensor is a built-in sensor that transmits and receives harmless infrared signals to determine if a user is present and automatically reduces monitor brightness when the user steps away from the desk, cutting energy costs by up to 70% and prolonging monitor life.
LightSensor
LightSensor uses a smart sensor to adjust the picture brightness depending on the light conditions in the room for the perfect picture with minimal power usage.
IPS Screen Technology
In-Plane Switching (IPS) displays provide wide horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 178°, making it possible to view the display from almost any angle including when pivoted 90°. Pivot mode! Furthermore, IPS displays allow for crisp and vivid colors, making it ideal for photos, movies, and web browsing, as well as professional applications that demand color accuracy and consistent brightness.
SmartImage Presets
SmartImage analyzes the content displayed on your screen and optimizes your display performance. This user-friendly interface allows you to select various modes, like office, photo, movie, game, economy, and more to fit the application at hand. Based on the selection, SmartImage dynamically optimizes the contrast, color saturation, and sharpness of images and videos for optimum performance, while the economy mode option offers you power savings.
