The self-charging system of the Urbanista Los Angeles Solar-Powered Wireless Noise-Canceling Over-Ear Headphones can continuously convert indoor and outdoor light into power, for a near infinite battery life. Whenever you put on the Los Angeles headphones, they're ready to produce clear and powerful sound from their large, 40mm drivers. That sound can be enjoyed distraction-free, thanks to its use of active noise cancellation technology, which takes in and neutralizes distracting ambient sound.
Solar Powered
Using Exeger Powerfoyle solar cell material along the headband, indoor and outdoor light is continuously converted into energy and stored within the headphone's 750mAh battery. That's enough for up to 80 hours of playback. You can actually monitor the drain and gain of power in real time via the Urbanista app for iOS and Android.
Ambient Sound Mode
With a single button, you can transition from the silent privacy of active noise cancellation into ambient sound mode. In this mode, previously blocked sounds are let back in so you can carry on conversations and be more aware of your surroundings.
On-Ear Detection
Controlling playback is extremely fluid and intuitive with on-ear detection. Essentially, on-ear detection can sense when you are wearing the headphones. Take them off and your music will automatically pause. Put them back on and it will automatically resume.
Mobile Communication
A built-in microphone lets you leave your smartphone in your pocket as you make and take calls hands-free. You can also use it to give voice commands to your digital assistant. The Los Angeles headphones supports both Siri and Google Assistant.
Urbanista App
Designed for iOS and Android, the app gives you the ability to track the amount of power you're draining and gaining in real-time. It also lets you switch sound modes, update your personal preferences, and more.
