90 x 90° Silicon Composite Hybrid Tractrix Horn
Klipsch's proprietary Tractrix geometry in the horn is specifically crafted to efficiently transfer the high frequencies of the tweeters to the listener. This second-generation Tractrix horn is larger for better directivity and a wider overall soundstage. The Tractrix horn can accomplish this level of audio fidelity and smooth frequency response by being combined with a phase plug and a compressed molded silicon face.
LTS Titanium Diaphragm Tweeters
Part of Klipsch's Reference line, the LTS (Linear Travel Suspension) works to minimize distortion for more detailed audio reproduction.
Vented Tweeter Design

In the second generation, voice coils are 70% larger in diameter to ensure flawless reproduction with better power handling, cone control, and linearity. The addition of aluminum shorting rings adds to the improved power handling and lower distortion, while the motor structure itself improves the transit response adds more control with increased speed and improved accuracy.

Premium Construction

You have the option of exposing the copper-colored woofer and tweeter or covering them up with a discrete speaker grille. The grille magnetically attaches to the front of the RP-502S II.
