The bag would be perfect if it only had a strap to tie the tripod down on the inside of the bag on both ends. It has a padded strap on one end but no real protection around the middle or other ends. Im still debating on whether or not I would trust an airline to handle my tripod in this bag, but its an affordable tripod to begin with so we shall see.
