The Panasonic WX-SM410 is a lavalier microphone with a 2.5mm connector designed for use with Panasonic wireless transmitters. This is the same mic sold as a set with the WX-ST400 transmitter and is available for purchase as a replacement if the original is lost or damaged. In addition, having several lavaliers on hand also allows each presenter to use their own microphone for health and sanitary reasons.
The lavalier's cardioid pickup pattern focuses audio capture on the subject and rejects background sound, helping to reduce feedback issues when sound reinforcement equipment is used.
