Guitarists looking to expand their cabinet IRs for TH-U SuperCabinet modeling software will be impressed with the Overloud Jensen Nighthawk, an IR library that extensively captures the full-sounding guitar tone of multiple guitar cabinets, each loaded with the Jensen C12/75 NH Nighthawk AlNiCo speaker.
The Nighthawk features a special voice-coil design that delivers a unique midrange grunt that characterizes the British rock sound. With its powerful bass range and upper-midrange presence lift that helps cut through a busy mix, the Nighthawk excels with medium and high-gain applications, well suited for '80s style hard and heavy tone. This library features IRs systematically captured with 19 mics for 912 total impulse responses. The mics recorded IRs in 16 positions, with two distances and two angles.

Every microphone has been moved to 4 different horizontal positions (Cap, Cap Edge, Cone, and Cone Edge), two distances and two angles, for a total of 16 IRs each. All measurements have been repeated for each one of the cabinets in the library. All IRs have been phase aligned and they can be blended without phase cancellation.
