Great mount; very happy

Not much to say, other that it's been great. Opened boxes, assembled, hooked up my gear, no issues so far in the past year. Guiding is under an arc second, which seems to be a thing people say is good , but I'm starting to question the validity of even using that number to rate a mount so it might not matter anyway. Either way, holds my qhy268m, mono filter wheel, WO zenithstar 73, asi120mm guide cam, WO 50mm guide scope, dew heaters, beelink u59 mini pc, and zwo focuser on a WO losmandy plate. A bit on the heavy side, but I'm used to it.

Solid Mount for Beginning Astrophotographer

Ordered and received this mount from B&H a few weeks ago with the goal of learning to do AP, using a Canon DSLR that I already have to begin with. Also ordered a Celestron C8 EdgeHD OTA, which is a nice mate to this mount. The mount is solid as a rock and was easy to use even without a precise polar alignment. It tracks smoothly and runs off a small 150 watt GoLabs battery power station. Wasn't sure whether the mount would accept both Vixen and Losmandy-D-style dovetail bars, but it does. It's a little heavier than I had imagined but I can carry it easily without the OTA attached. So far (and I've only taken a few pics), I'm very pleased with the tracking accuracy and the quiet and vibration-free operation. Will explore its capabilities more shortly, when the snow goes away!

Here is my question: Is Sky-Watcher HEQ5 GoTo Equatorial Mount with Tripod compatible with Losmandy-style dovetail plate (does it have Losmandy-style saddle?)? I plan to use this mount & tripod with Sky-Watcher Evostar 150DX ED APO 150mm f/8 Refractor. Thanks!

In answer to your weight question, I am uncertain. The scope I plan to purchase from you is a TeleVue 85, with a 2 diagonal and 2 Nagler eyepieces. Also will the 3 TeleVue scope mounting rings readily connect with the saw HEQ series or do I need an adapter of some kind?
