The integrated Vaxis wireless receiver handles signals coming from as far as 500' and in resolutions up to DCI 4K. Measuring 8.9" diagonally, the 1500 cd/m² super retina, 2560 x 1600 touchscreen display delivers 330 ppi visual clarity, viewable in daylight or brightly lit locations, without limiting you to being tethered to specific areas of your set.

The Storm Cine 8 is loaded with technical and creative tools that include 3D LUT support, waveform and vectorscope settings, and various color space options such as REC. 709, DCI-P3, and BT.2020, allowing content creators to see the footage acquired in a form closest to their intended final vision. The user-friendly touchscreen menu gives you instant access to making changes to color temperature, gamma value, and a vast range of parameters, including backlight brightness, contrast, and saturation. The monitor also supports HDR, with an option to view either PQ or HLG.

The self-developed CINE OS touch operating system is the first and only one specifically created for Vaxis, along with the AFCA intelligent focus assist algorithm, which ensures more reliable and convenient focus control. Five antenna ports on the top surface of the monitor allow you to mount any or all of the five included external antennas for better distance coverage and overall reception. Two integrated NPF mount battery plates give you the option to power the unit with two optional L-series batteries. A flight case is included for portability and storage.
