The MBM-1000 Magnetic Background Mount System from Impact allows multiple background sizes on a configurable wall-mount setup. Strong rare-earth magnets securely hold paper or fabric backgrounds to the mounted wall plates. To exchange a backdrop for a different color, scene, or size, simply pull the magnets off and switch backgrounds. The magnetic mounting system does not require making holes in a background, using adhesives, or any other connection which may damage or degrade fabric, paper, or vinyl material.

The manufacture does not list a support weight on the Impact MBM-1000 Magnetic Background Mount System. I would not use a background that is heavier than most Muslin material backgrounds. Canvas backgrounds might be too heavy.
