The RODECaster Pro II made it so easy to start up my new podcast. We unboxed it and had it ready to go in minutes. Makes the podcast sound and look very professional. Highly recommend using the RODECaster Pro II if you are planning on starting a podcast or stream! The utility is unmatched by anything that I researched.

I'm a novice in this space, but having the RCP2 have given me the confidence to hop in head first!
It's like a toy, all plastic.

The first one is metal with 38 screws, it Doesn't any screw and doesn't have security plug for the mic cable, it's two fade less, it's feeling like a toy. The first one is much, much better.
Good so far

I moved from the RODECaster Pro I to the RODECaster Pro II and there were only a few things I had to learn to be able to use it right away. The added features are amazing. I use it with Zoom and will be creating my own podcast on YouTube. It is really easy to use and very intuitive. PLEASE READ THE MANUAL. Most of the complaints are from people who either do NOT have this device or have NOT read the manual! Enjoy your new life without cloudlifters or fetheads! That alone makes it worth it!

I have to be clear on this point. The construction of the RCPII is a clear setback compared to the RCPI. The RCPII is completely plastic, but, it's not cheap or soft plastic, it feels great to the touch. The only thing I don't really like is the on/off button, the RCPI one is much better.
But where the RCPII shines is in all the possibilities offered by its new firmware (based on Linux), which makes it a very versatile and customizable device. You can tailor everything to your workflow, you don't have to get stuck with Faders you won't use, and there's a jump in quality to the filters and mic effects, on top of the 76dB gain of the preamps.
I love it, and with each update it improves and adds new features. It's worth it

This is an absolute solid product. I did realize since ordering that it has capabilities much more advantageous for live streaming or in the moment editing for podcasts because it is so advanced. If you plan to simply record podcasts and then edit them later there may be more affordable options; with that said, this is best on the market for what it gives you.
Great improvement!

I was using the Rodecaster Pro initially, but the improvements on this new board had me upgrading to the PROII. Great for recording my podcasts and the enhanced tech, features and efx are amazing. I use the touchpads frequently, and the new versatility is welcomed. The only improvement I can see right now is the addition of a countdown clock for those touchpad sounds. Right now, it's a pie chart that gets smaller as time runs out, so you don't have an exact time cue - just a smaller piece of the pie. I obviously know when a bed is going to run out, but not sure why you can't toggle a graphic vs. time countdown. Perhaps in a future release.
