work but doesn't stay on well

Works well with the rain covers except the taped on cushion gasket comes off trying to get the rain cover off. Also, this won't lock into position so will come off the camera seven when taped on.

someone else on B&H staff already answered that the eyepiece for the earlier A7 cameras doesn't fit the A74.

How does this fit on the A1 if the proximity ...

How does this fit on the A1 if the proximity cutout is at the top (like the A9 series) and the A1 proximity sensor is at the bottom?

The Think Tank Photo Eyepiece for Sony A1, B&H # THEPSA1, would be the correct eyepiece for use with the Sony Alpha a1 Mirrorless Digital Camera, whereas the Think Tank Photo EP-S Hydrophobia Eyepiece for Sony a7/9-Series and a77 Cameras, B&H # THEPS, would be the eyepiece designed for use with the Sony Alpha a9 Mirrorless Digital Camera.

This is a statement, not a question. If the eyepiece fits on a Sony A7RII or A7RIII, it will NOT fit on an A1!?

According to Think Tank Photo, this EP-SP Hydrophobia eyepiece fits Sony Alpha 1, a7siii, and a7riv. The EP-S is for the a7, A7ii, A7iii, A7Riii, A7Riv, A9, A9ii series camera bodies and the a77.
